Give yourself new sensations (ahem) and a fresh set of upper arm bruises in the name of one of straps’ most class skills. The crucifix roll-up is an OG move that’s somehow fallen out of fashion in favour of people swinging around on one arm in ways entirely indiscernible to an audience - we’re bringing it back. We’ll break down the mechanics, work on entry and exit, and get you rolling with (bruised) confidence. Pre-reqs: Minimum 6 months of regular straps or calisthenics training. Comfortable straps inversion without assistance - skin the cat inversions included Some shoulder depression strength - you should be able to hold a support hold or straight-arm dip for around 5 seconds Basic scapular stability under load (no collapsing or winging) No current acute shoulder or rotator cuff issues Able to do a forward roll. Yes, really.
